Lori Varner Wins Hotel Sales Award.

Lori Varner, Corporate Director of Sales, has won the Sales & Marketing Star of the Year Award from the Michigan Lodging and Tourism Association (MTLA) http://www.milodging.org.
Varner received her award during the Stars of the Industry Award dinner on Wednesday, March 28th 2018 in the International Ballroom at the J.W. Marriott in Grand Rapids. The event is part of the Pure Michigan Governor’s Conference on Tourism that recognizes and celebrates hospitality professionals across the state.
Grant Hirst, General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Holland, nominated Varner for the award.
“We nominated Lori because she has an unsurpassed passion for sales and has demonstrated excellence in her field for many years,” Hirst said. “She deserves to be recognized for her achievements over the course of her career with Suburban Inns and especially for a stellar 2017 year.”
In her role, Varner oversees marketing and sales for all six Suburban Inns hotels in Midland, Grand Rapids and Holland, Michigan. She has been with Suburban Inns since 2001.
